For Violetta Ehnsperg, art is a place of strength, painting a source of dynamism. The artist sees seriousness and cheerfulness united in her work. With exciting color and confident composition, the young painter approaches the formerly invisible, the inner moods and movements, the world of sensations. She hits the zeitgeist, completely without representationalism, purely with form and color, which she spreads generously to the canvas. With a firm hand, a large brush, and a lot of momentum, she creates airy energetic works that touch on our longing and joy of life.

Violetta Ehnsperg (*1991) was born in Austria and from time to time reflects on her Thai roots in her artistic cosmos. She began designing fashion at an early age and ran her own label before she studied abstract painting and sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. She recently graduated and her career is taking off at a rapid pace. She says, „Art can satisfy longing.“

Sandra Val starts her investigations from a liminal state where pieces of tradition and present converge, are transmuted and redefined. The artist creates objects, stories and new dialogues that speak to us of time and space. In her work she uses traditional techniques such as ceramics, goldsmithing and glass to generate works that move between the familiar and the strange. Creating scenarios and installative settings is an essential part of Sandra Vals practice: She invents multidimensional architectures, cosmogonies where the fragments of the environment interact and are continuously juxtaposed. They generate a wide symbolic universe coming from architectures related to the spiritual and fictitious universes dominated by accident and chance. These constructions propose, from a formal point of view, an extension of the languages of contemporary sculpture with minimalist overtones. The concept of series, variation and repetition are furthermore of importance to the reading of my most recent works.

Sandra Val (*1979) graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid where she also obtained a Master of Research in Art and Creation. She has received grants and residencies including AlNorte 2017, artistic production grant by the Biennial of Women in the Visual Arts 2020 and Co-net Art 2022 residency and participated in the Korea International Ceramics Biennial and the Manises International Ceramics Biennial in Valencia. Her work has been exhibited at the Barjola Museum in Gijón, at the C.A.V. La Neomudéjar Museum in Madrid, at the Provincial Museum of Teruel, at the Gyeonggi Museum of Contemporary Ceramic Art in Korea and at different institutions in Spain, Portugal, Costa Rica, Colombia and the United States. Her work can be found in collections such as the Gyeonggi Museum of Contemporary Ceramic Art, the Venancio Blanco Foundation and the Fernando Villalón Foundation, among others.
